FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
FACEBOOK SHUTS DOWN GEORGIA MINUTEMEN PAGE ALONG WITH THOUSANDS OF OTHER CONSERVATIVE PAGES
(McDONOUGH – 21 August 2020) This Wednesday, 19 August, Facebook announced in the national media that it was targeting thousands of conservative pages and their sponsors in a new effort to quash the “Qanon Movement.” This movement involves the belief that President Trump is secretly working behind the scenes to bring to justice many high ranking current and former officials as well as many well-known celebrities for crimes stemming from human trafficking, child abuse, and even Satanic rituals. While the Georgia Minutemen are aware of this movement, the Georgia Minutemen have made absolutely no statements in any forum related to it nor to its core beliefs.
Georgia Minutemen founder, Ray McBerry, had this to say on a morning radio show, “The Georgia Minutemen have made no statements connected to the Qanon Movement whatsoever. Facebook has obviously used this excuse as the ‘straw man’ for shutting down thousands of conservative pages and groups in their continued efforts to halt the huge awakening among average Americans about what is going on across the country. No doubt, the very fact that our name includes the word ‘Minutemen’ is the reason that our group raised their ire. It is a sad day in America when the revered name of American patriots from the first American War for Independence is seen as a byword by Big Tech. This will not deter us, however. The Georgia Minutemen page had already eclipsed more than 1,000 likes and followers in less than a month’s time; and our attorneys are preparing litigation as I speak as another volley in the battle to restore our Confederate Monuments across Georgia. We will have more to share on that very soon.”
The Georgia Minutemen encourage patriotic Georgians everywhere to continue the resistance effort against the Marxists, including their liberal media and Big Tech allies, who are seeking to take over our state and America. While the Georgia Minutemen facebook page is down, the public can continue to visit the group’s website for updates.
